Microsoft shuts down Codeplex, recommends Github

Today I read the news that Microsoft initiated the shutdown of their proprietary service Codeplex and recommends users to migrate to Github. While I personally prefer Gitlab as it is completely open source and European based, I really approve this decision — and hope that Microsoft soon does the next step and recommends to migrate from Windows to Linux, and from C#/.net to Java/EE. 🙂
